Chapter Events

The CenTex Chapter has been enjoying an exciting and active summer in Austin that began with its 1st annual Chapter Golf Outing at River Place Country Club in May. The chapter extends special thanks to member Mike Hass from Uplink Golf for coordinating the event. In June, Dwayne Lum, director of product marketing for Motion Computing, gave an outstanding presentation on the considerations for Tablet PC design. Two more chapter meetings are planned between now and the end of the year. Oracle will be presenting on August 17 and SAP on November 16. In addition, the chapter’s inaugural Holiday Event will take place in December.

The chapter has been experiencing much activity with both new members and sponsorships and is pleased to announce SAP as a Platinum Chapter Sponsor and Applied Mechanical as a Silver Chapter Sponsor. Overall, it has been a successful year so far, and the remainder of 2007 looks even more promising.
