Pim Bonsel

Pim Bonsel has been a member of the AFSMI staff since 1992, as VP Europe, Middle East, Africa.  Pim is a prolific writer of articles and white papers and has guided AFSMI’s research efforts since 1992. Pim developed the Benchmark research series as well as the annual Future Trend report. He has presented at many industry conferences around the world as well as the several EU commissions. Throughout his tenure with AFSM, Pim has been a strong advocate for the needs of our European members and has helped to develop a strong network of AFSMI chapters in Europe.

Pim is the ultimate professional, while maintaining a sense of humility. He has been the heart of AFSMI and our face in Europe, said John Schoenewald. His intellect and analytical skills are incredible and have been of great value to the association and the industry. The association and I owe our deepest gratitude to Pim for his tremendous contributions over many years. He is a man of many talents and we were fortunate to have him on our side. Everyone that ever came in contact with him certainly remember the occasion as he always makes people feel special. As he enters the next phase of his life he will always “Keep Smiling”.
