Executive Education: Wharton

Service and support are throwing off their traditional "cost center" roles and becoming important sources of revenue and profits in today's technology companies. With so much riding on service and support, managers must acquire new skills and expertise in order to stay aligned with business objectives, and demonstrate ongoing value to the enterprise. These leaders must be experts in handling people, processes, and technology — and must also have a solid foundation of key business and management skills in areas like finance, strategic planning and negotiations.

The Wharton Technology Support Services Management Program (TSSM) is designed around these skills. It covers key advanced management practices, focusing particularly on what service and support managers need to be successful. The program includes real-world examples and case studies that create active discussions, which help participants understand and apply the concepts they learn.
